Thank you for being part of the HTCC Volunteer Team and for your Seva.
Our last major event was Ganesh Chaturdhi on Sep 2nd and 3rd and we had 1800+ devotees show up for the event in the temple. The event was a roaring success thanks to dedicated volunteers like you. Although we couldn't capture the names of everyone who showed up, here is a semi-complete list of names of the volunteers who helped on the event. This list will shortly go up on our website too.
More than 40 volunteers showed up and did the seva during the event and the cleanup after the event..

Please accept our apologies if we have missed any names. Please let us know so that we can include your or anyone you know who did the seva in this list. Our capturing the names of the volunteers who show up is not perfect, and it is easy to miss someone helping out in such a big crowd of devotees.

For those of you who are full time with Microsoft, we’r happy to announce that Microsoft matches the time you spend volunteering at the temple. Please contact us for details on how to take that forward.
We have Navaratri Festival starting from 29th Sep and culminating in the Vijaya Dasami on 9th Oct. It would be awesome if you can come in and help for this too. Please confirm your participation by replying to this email. If you can let us know what time you can join us, and how long you can stay, that would be great.
Here is a partial list of activities you can help with.
- Helping out during the Samoohika Puja
- Coordinating Parking
- Kitchen Tasks like Utensils Cleaning/Arranging Stuff.
- Prasadam Distribution
- Taking care of Garbage Cans (They fill up pretty rapidly during festivals)
- Monitor kids (Keep them from running about in the parking lot, keep them entertained etc)
- Manage the footwear (Lots of it is left on the floor, have to direct the devotees to the extra racks)
- Front Desk (Receipts, questions, etc)
